ADMISSIONS
SRS US High School is a high school that provides a wide range of courses and subjects designed to produce well-rounded students and advance students academically through our College Board Advanced Placement courses. We focus on helping students discover the subjects where they excel and can make the most of their talents. By providing a variety of courses and incorporating life skills within our curriculum, we are preparing our students to become well-rounded students for university, colleges, and beyond while promoting skills such as creativity, communication, critical thinking, and collaboration.
We want to make the admissions process an easy transition for our incoming SRS US High School families. Our admissions team is here to support our families in every step of the process. Whether you are transferring to our school within the UAE or from a different country, we will be here to support you to make the transition effortless.
HOW TO APPLY
Admissions to SRS can be made at any time, although there are cut-off dates during the year, which are designated by the Ministry of Education. The following documentation can be uploaded within the online application, emailed to the school’s Registrar or handed in at the Admissions Office.
The supporting documents that are required when a registration is submitted are:
- Sponsor's Emirates ID
- Applicant's Photo
- Parent's (sponsor) Visa / For Local. Students, their family number
- Parent's (sponsor) Passport
- Applicant recent school/nursery report (at least two years if applicable)
- Applicant's Visa
- Applicant's passport
- Applicant's immunization
- Applicant’s birth certificate
- Previous School report card
Without the above listed documents, the entry process for your child cannot be completed.
Assessment & Interview
SRS US High School employs a holistic approach to the process of evaluating students for entrance into the high school. The evaluation process includes a review of the student’s application, past school records and SRS US High School entrance assessments. If the student is overseas at the time of the application, we can arrange a virtual call with our counselor.
Admissions Overview
SRS US High School offers an enriched US curriculum with an international perspective for students from grade 9 through grade 12. Graduates will earn an accredited US diploma. The curriculum is based on Massachusetts State Standards.

Transfer certificate requirements
Once a place is offered to a child, a transfer certificate should be provided from the previous school and stamped by the relevant authorities listed below. This is a requirement by the Ministry of Education in UAE to allow students to complete the official registration process at SRS.
FROM WITHIN DUBAI SCHOOLS: Leaving Certificate letter from the previous school attested from KHDA to be handed before the student joins the school.
FROM ANOTHER EMIRATE OF THE UAE: A stamp of the Ministry of Education of the Emirate the school is located in.
FROM GCC: School stamp and signature
OUT OF GCC
- Report card should be stamped from the above government authorities, And the school stamp and signature
- Stamped by the Ministry of Education (in the country of the school’s location)
- Stamped by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (in the country of the school’s location)
- Stamped by the UAE Embassy (in the country of the school’s location). In case UAE Embassy doesn’t exist there, go to any Arabic Embassy.
