This year, Ramadan is expected to begin at sundown on Saturday, April 2, and end at sundown on Saturday, April 30. The final evening of Ramadan consists of a celebration called Eid al-Fitr, when the traditional month-long fast is ended with a feast.
Students return to school all over Dubai after their week long End of term 2 Break.
A five-day weekend is just a few months away for the UAE. With Ramadan coming in April this year, with an expected start date of April 2 and an ending date of May 1, that would most likely mean that Eid Al Fitr will fall on Monday, May 1

Students engage in activities related to the UAE. At 11am all students stand for the UAE National Anthem and celebrate UAE Flag Day.
Anti-Bulling Week (21/11 to 25/05)(Activites TBC). Raising awareness of what the term 'Bullying' means and reinforcing the message that it is not accepted at SRS.
